Week17 at Workshop17: bringing members together through creativity & celebration.
Launched in 2024, Week17 has quickly become a signature moment for the Workshop17 community.
Now in its third edition, Week17 returned from 20th to 24th April 2026 during the 17th week of the year, bringing the the community together through creativity, connection and celebration.
Workshop17 now brings together more than 900 members across Vivéa, Telfair and The Precinct. From entrepreneurs and startups to creatives, freelancers and established businesses, the community continues to grow around one shared idea: work feels better when people genuinely connect.
Week17 was created to make that happen more intentionally. It’s a chance to step away from the usual routine, meet new people and create genuine connections in a more relaxed setting.
Week17 2026 edition: create, connect and celebrate
This year’s Week17 showed that some of the best connections happen when you take a break from your screen.
For one week, W17 Vivéa, W17 Telfair and W17 The Precinct felt a little different from the usual workday routine. Members spent time together through workshops, activities and casual conversations, creating new connections along the way.
The CREATE sessions set the tone of the week: Sip and paint with Mingle, bouquet-making workshops and image consulting sessions with The Minimalist gave members the chance to try something different while naturally connecting with others.
As the week progressed, the energy grew with CONNECT: The Biz Pop Up Event with Turbine created a lively space for entrepreneurs and brands to exchange ideas, while speed networking with Aqui Wines brought a more easygoing approach to meeting new people.
The paddle tournament with Ennoia Grand Baie and Isla Padel added another layer, showing that interactions don’t always happen in meeting rooms.
Moments of CELEBRATION also shaped the week. Members explored cocktail masterclass with Oxenham at Vivéa, gathered for a Family Fun Day at The Precinct and enjoyed a Mauritian lunch at Telfair. Each experience reflected the diversity and personality that make W17 unique.
Throughout the week, members shared their experiences online,
turning these moments into something collective and lasting.
More than a desk: bringing people together
At Workshop17, community is at the centre of everything we do.
Beyond flexible seats, offices and meeting rooms, our spaces are designed to bring people together. With a diverse mix of entrepreneurs, startups, creatives, freelancers, SMEs and corporates, the environment naturally encourages interaction and exchange.
From quick chats over coffee to collaborations that grow over time, connections form organically. Week17 builds on this by creating dedicated opportunities to meet, engage and strengthen relationships beyond daily work routines.
Because the future of work is not only about where you work, but also about the people around you.
Week17 is more than just a week of events. It’s a celebration of the people, ideas and everyday moments that shape life at Workshop17.
It’s proof that the best workspaces are not only designed for productivity, but also for creativity, collaboration and human connection.
