On 14th July 2025, Workshop17 officially unveiled its 800m² extension, marking a major milestone in its mission to offer flexible, premium workspaces to ambitious teams and entrepreneurs.

Occupancy trends highlight high demand for private offices
Before the expansion, all private offices at Workshop17 The Precinct were already fully occupied. With a growing community of over 312 members and 90 companies, the need for more space became clear.
And even before the new wing officially opened on 14 July 2025, all 20 new private offices in the extension were already fully booked. The high demand reflects how much businesses, both local and international, value the flexibility, quality, and location of our spaces. At the same time, our coworking areas were operating at 85% capacity, reinforcing the need to grow.
What’s new in the expansion!
The extension brings 800m² of brand-new space, carefully designed to offer both comfort and functionality. It includes 20 new private offices and around 20 additional coworking seats, providing more room for teams to grow, collaborate, and focus.
Members now also benefit from 13 video conference booths, up from 9. Whether it’s a quick client call or a longer online meeting, these booths offer the ideal setup for staying connected and productive.
The space has been thoughtfully planned with contemporary design, ergonomic furniture, and smart tech, staying true to Workshop17’s commitment to delivering a premium, friction-free work experience.
Who’s moving in? A thriving community grows
The expansion hasn’t just brought in new space, it’s welcomed new energy. Several existing members chose to grow their footprint, moving from coworking desks to private offices. Actual members like Acre Capital Management, Frontline Research Group, Synergy360, Alterra AfricaAccelerator Manager, Westlake Ventures Ltd, BEFORMA FOAD LTD,Holborn (Mauritius) Limited, JAC Legal, Jatayu Consultancy and BLNS Ltd. decided to make the move into our new phase. This natural progression highlights how Workshop17 supports businesses as they evolve, without the need to relocate.
A wave of new businesses has also joined the community, such as BeSignal (Mauritius) Ltd, Response Med InternationalLtd, Nautil, Lead Solution Wealth Management, CRUX TRIUM (MU)LTD, PNR Airways and Wellnest Ltd.
